Jerett Brooks records Back to Back 2nd place podiums at Dirt City Motorplex

 Lena, Wisconsin, 8/1/22 - Jerett Brooks made his return to Dirt City Motorplex on the gas! With a fastest qualifier Friday and back to back 2nd place podium position for the weekend.

Jerett kicked the weekend off with a 2nd place podium finish Saturday. After starting on the outside of the first row, Jerett quickly worked to separate himself from the field. Following reaching 1st place Jerett suffered heavy contact that dropped him back to third. But set up is key and having the fastest truck Jerett was able to make it back to 2nd by the halfway point.

Sundays race proved to be a tough battle after starting on the 3rd row in 5th place due to the 6 invert having to battle on a tight track with the competition stacked field. Within 2 corners Jerett had worked his way up to 4th place where he’d battle until the halfway point coming in 5th . From half way Jerett put on a hard charge working his way up to 4th in by the 1st corner, then hunted 2nd and 3rd place. On the final lap he made the pass on 2nd to finish the weekend out with the overall championship points lead.

Dirt City Motorplex is a very technical track from the long sweeping corners to the tight jumps into sharp turns. Jerett uses the combination of Bilstien shocks absorbers, General Tire X3’s, Maxima oils, and Roush Performance motor package to stayed hooked up around the track throughout the weekend.
