Antigo, Wisconsin, 6/6/22 - Jerett Brooks made his return to the Championship Off-Road Racing series with a lead off win in the non-points head-to-head shoot out Friday night. His first win of the season was in the General Tire/Bilstein sponsored Pro 2.

Saturday’s race led to a 2nd place finish after starting on the second row and getting to the lead position by turn 2. After leading the whole race, it came down to a Green, White, Checkered where Brooks lost the lead position with only a few turns remaining.

Sunday’s race resulted in a 9th place finish after getting up to 2nd place by turn 3. Eventually working his way to the lead position. However, after leading with two laps to go contact resulted in a tire rupture dropping Brooks to 9th. Brooks currently sits 3rd in points after the first 2 rounds.

This past off-season came with a great deal of changes to the General Tire/ Bilstein Pro2. The new Roush motor package proved its weight in gold just the first weekend at the track, being the truck to clock the fastest practice lap and fastest qualifying lap, as well as the fastest laps from Saturday’s and Sunday’s race. “This truck is a bullet,” Brooks said, “I am pumped to see how well we’ll perform this season!”

Additionally, part of that winning setup was the combination of Bilstein Shocks and General Tires. Brooks ran nearly stock General X3 Mud Terrain tires that gave him more than enough grip throughout the weekend.
