RIGID Nation Dominates at King of the Hammers

King of the Hammers

The dust has and the rocks have settled, and one thing is clear, RIGID Nation showed up in a big way at King of the Hammers.

Over the course of one of the toughest events in off-road racing, athletes backed by RIGID Industries delivered championship runs, hard-fought podiums, and breakthrough performances across multiple classes. From high-speed desert stages to brutal rock sections, drivers and machines were pushed to their limits, and RIGID racers proved once again that they perform when the terrain gets unforgiving.

Leading the charge was Christopher Polvoorde, who captured his third consecutive Desert Challenge Championship. A three-peat at King of the Hammers is no small accomplishment. The race demands consistency, precision, and the ability to balance speed with survival across some of the toughest terrain in off-road racing. Polvoorde delivered exactly that, maintaining a relentless pace from start to finish.

Breakthrough performances were another highlight of the week. Mia Chapman took on her first UTV King of the Hammers race and secured an impressive 7th place finish. In the same race, Brock Heger battled through the brutal course behind the wheel of a factory Polaris machine to earn a 3rd place podium.

The 4600 Every Man Challenge class delivered another standout moment for RIGID Nation. Loren Healy and Vaughn Gittin Jr. teamed up for an impressive 2nd place finish, navigating one of the week’s most punishing courses with precision and strategy.

Another podium finish came from the Baja Kits truck program, which powered through unforgiving terrain to secure its spot on the podium. Preparation, durability, and performance proved critical as racers battled the Johnson Valley desert.

From desert speeds to rock-crawling precision, RIGID athletes once again demonstrated what it means to perform when it matters most. At King of the Hammers, the lights may turn off at sunrise, but performance never stops.

Congratulations to all of our RIGID Nation racers. We’re proud to stand behind you.
