Jerett Brooks wins the Pro2 Championship at Crandon International Raceway

Crandon, Wisconsin, 9/4/22 - Jerett Brooks made his return to Crandon Raceway determined to secure the Pro 2 Championship! With a 3rd place in the final race of the season Saturday and a 2nd place in the Pro2 World Cup Sunday.


Jerett came into the weekend with 2 points separating himself and 2nd place. After qualifying 2nd Jerett gained a single point bumping his lead to 3 points for the final showdown. The final race of the season proved to be a tough battle when poor visibility in turn 1 dropped Jerett to 6th place. By the half way point Jerett had worked his way to 3rd place where he’d remain to secure the Pro2 Championship for the 2022 season. This is now Jerett ’s 3rd pro 2 championship with many more to come.

Sundays World Cup race was a fierce battle down to the wire. Coming into turn 1 Jerett was in 4th place where he quickly picked off 2 drivers by the 4th lap. After the competition caution Jerett would go to work on 1st place until his air filter flew off on the 8th lap leaving him with a 2nd place finish.
