The SR-Q Series PRO is a sleek low profile lighting option that packs more lighting output than ever before thanks to recent improvements to the advanced LEDs inside. The SR-Q Series PRO now emits up to 4,752 raw lumens, depending on optic. An excellent choice for any application where space is limited, the SR-Q Series PRO makes auxiliary lighting professional grade.
A single row of LEDs and is available in multiple beam patterns, including Spot, Flood, Driving, Hyperspot, and Diffused. Other recent updates to the SR-Q Series PRO include updated RIGID branding and blacked out circuit boards for a more refined look. Both surface and flush mount options are available and there are multiple mounting capabilities, such as the Suction Cup Mount and Angled Flush Mounts, just to name a few. The SR-Q Series is also a perfect back-up light and is available as a Back-Up Light Kit with a 25 Foot harness and a three-position switch for ease of wiring and usage.
The next comparison is between amber LED vs. amber lens. Using the RIGID D-series as an example, the D-Series with amber LEDs has approximately half of the peak intensity that the D-series with the amber lens has: LEDs Lenses 16,218cd vs. 34,340cd We went with the change in lens color over LED because of the significant difference in peak intensity between LEDs and the lens. The drop in light output from the clear lens to the colored lens occurs when that white light is converted from blue to another color. There is a loss of energy that happens in that process. Even with that loss of energy, we end up with a higher output than what is possible with an amber LED. The Amber PRO Edition also provides a more cohesive aesthetic among the OEM light colors.
